Agriculture remains the backbone of Telangana's economy, yet farmers and tenant cultivators have historically borne the brunt of volatile markets and mounting debts. The Rythu Bharosa guarantee represents the Congress Party's unwavering pledge to restore dignity and profitability to the agrarian sector.

Moving beyond partial measures, Rythu Bharosa provides unprecedented financial assistance of ₹15,000 per acre annually for both farm owners and tenant farmers, ensuring that those who till the land have the capital necessary for seeds, fertilizers, and equipment. Recognizing the vital role of agricultural laborers, the scheme also extends ₹12,000 annually to landless farm workers.

To ensure fair pricing, the guarantee includes a guaranteed ₹500 bonus per quintal for paddy crops above the Minimum Support Price (MSP). Most crucially, to free the farming community from the vicious cycle of debt, the Congress government is committed to a comprehensive crop loan waiver of up to ₹2 lakh, allowing farmers a clean slate and a fresh start.
