Embracing Inclusivity and Equity: A New Era for the Hanumakonda District Congress Committee

The Hanumakonda District Congress Committee (DCC) has welcomed a landmark decision by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) to reserve 60% of nominated posts for long-serving party leaders and grassroots workers. This historic move is a testament to the party's commitment to recognizing the dedication and hard work of its loyal members. Under the leadership of DCC president Engala Venkatram Reddy, our district is poised to benefit greatly from this decision, which aims to provide a platform for senior party workers to contribute their experience and expertise to key nominated posts.

This decision is a significant step towards ensuring that the party's loyal workers are given the recognition they deserve. As per the guidelines, priority will be given to former mandal presidents, district executive members, leaders of affiliated organisations, and senior Assembly constituency leaders who have worked tirelessly for the party over the years. These individuals have demonstrated unwavering commitment to the party's ideals and have been instrumental in shaping its growth and success. By providing them with opportunities to serve in key nominated posts, including PACS directors, PACS chairpersons, and Market Committee members, the party is acknowledging their valuable contributions and empowering them to continue making a positive impact.

A Commitment to Social Justice

The AICC's decision is also a reflection of the party's commitment to social justice. By providing adequate representation to Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), Backward Classes (BCs), minorities, and women in the nomination process, the party is ensuring that all sections of society have a voice and are given opportunities to participate in the decision-making process. This is a significant step towards promoting inclusivity and diversity, and we are proud to be a part of a party that values and respects the contributions of all its members. As DCC president Engala Venkatram Reddy noted, this decision is a testament to the party's commitment to social justice and its determination to create a more equitable society.

The party's commitment to social justice is a core value that guides our actions and decisions. By providing opportunities for all sections of society to participate in the decision-making process, we are creating a more just and equitable society.

A Fair and Transparent Nomination Process

To ensure a fair and transparent nomination process, the AICC has issued guidelines directing district in-charge ministers, local ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, DCC presidents, and Assembly constituency leaders to prepare a final list of nominees in consultation with senior party leaders. This collaborative approach will enable the party to identify the most suitable candidates for each post and ensure that the nomination process is free from bias and favoritism. By involving senior party leaders in the decision-making process, the party is leveraging their experience and expertise to make informed decisions that benefit the party and the community as a whole.

The key steps in the nomination process include:

  • Identifying eligible candidates who have worked tirelessly for the party over the years
  • Consulting with senior party leaders to ensure a fair and transparent process
  • Preparing a final list of nominees that reflects the party's commitment to social justice and inclusivity

A New Era for the Hanumakonda District Congress Committee

The AICC's decision to reserve 60% of nominated posts for long-serving party leaders and grassroots workers is a significant milestone in our party's history. As the Hanumakonda District Congress Committee, we are committed to implementing this decision and ensuring that our senior party workers are given the recognition they deserve. We believe that this decision will not only strengthen our party but also contribute to the growth and development of our district. We look forward to working together with our party leaders and members to create a more inclusive and equitable society, where everyone has the opportunity to participate and contribute to the decision-making process.
